The Cullman Bearcats softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host North Jackson Chiefs to 2 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cullman improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Area 14 game on Thursday, March 10. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 16-0. Hartselle won 8-2 in their recent league game against Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL)

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL) in a 4A Area 14 game, on Tuesday, March 15. North Jackson will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
