The Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 9-1 record. In their last bout, Tomball Memorial defeated Atascocita (Humble, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Cypress Lakes falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Cypress Springs lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Tomball (Tomball, TX)
