East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Brahmas now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. East Bernard will face a Roughnecks squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Steele falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to George Ranch (Richmond, TX) to face the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. George Ranch won 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Needville (Needville, TX)
