Texas High School Softball - Ridge Point gets by El Campo

The Ridge Point Panthers got by the host El Campo Ricebirds softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Flower Mound nudged Dobie (Houston, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Ricebirds now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Smithville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 8. El Campo will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to St. John's (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.
