North Carolina High School Softball - Heritage gets by Holly Springs

The Heritage Huskies got by the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks softball squad by a count of 12-11 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Apex nudged Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Spring for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 8. Holly Springs will meet a Storm squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Green Level (Cary, NC). The Storm record now stands at 3-0.
