Mississippi High School Softball - J.Z. George loses to Independence

The Independence Wildcats softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host J.Z. George Jaguars to 5 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Byhalia (Byhalia, MS) to clash with the Indians in a 3A Region 2 game on Monday, March 7. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-1. Byhalia lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Independence (Independence, MS)
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 8. J.Z. George will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
