Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Willow Canyon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Paradise Valley will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Ironwood falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
