The Marshall Barristers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Taft Toreadors to 6 in the Barristers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Marshall improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Barristers host Immaculate Heart (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Pandas in a non-league game on Monday, March 7. The Pandas come into the game with a record of 6-3. Immaculate Heart won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Glendale (Glendale, CA)

In their next game, the Toreadors clash with the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 10. Taft will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
