V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lewisville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. V.R. Eaton will battle a Farmers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Prosper falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to battle the Gophers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Gophers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Grand Prairie lost 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Gunter (Gunter, TX)
