The Abilene Eagles baseball team (Abilene, TX), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX)
The Spartans now hold a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 9. Pebble Hills will confront a Pirates team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Eagles confront the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Abilene will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
