The Joaquin Rams baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Brookeland Wildcats to 0 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Dragons go into the 2A Region III District 23 match with a 3-4 record.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Broaddus (Broaddus, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region III District 24 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Broaddus was overwhelmed by Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX), 4-1, in a non-league match.
