In Saturday's non-league game, the host Central Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 17-3 victory over the Slidell Tigers.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Griffins go into the non-league game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Dutchtown overcame Covington (Covington, LA), 6-0, in a non-league game.
