With the win, Cumberland Academy upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Knights host Mineola (Mineola, TX) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 1-1. Mineola lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Canton (Canton, TX)

With the defeat, Woden falls to 0-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX) to battle the Dragons in a 2A Region III District 23 test on Tuesday, March 21. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 4-4.
