The Oceanside Pirates the host El Capitan Vaqueros baseball team by a tally of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host El Camino for a non-league bout on Monday, March 6. Oceanside will face a Wildcats team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Morse (San Diego, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
