In Saturday's non-league game, the host Gulfport Admirals baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Pike County Pirates.
The Admirals (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Winder-Barrow was overwhelmed by Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL), 5-0, in a non-league game.
The Pirates (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Greyhounds go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Ocean Springs was overwhelmed by IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL), 10-0, in a non-league game.
