North Carolina High School Baseball - New Bern prevails Richlands

March 4, 2023: New Bern, NC 28562

The New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), 12-3 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears play the West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 7. New Bern will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 14-6 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).

The Wildcats now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Duplin for a non-league contest on Monday, March 6. Richlands will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
