In Saturday's non-league game, the host West Monroe Rebels baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the St. Charles Catholic Comets.
The Rebels (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Brandon was overwhelmed by Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Comets (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Glenbrook (Minden, LA). The Apaches go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Glenbrook tipped Many (Many, LA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
