In Saturday's non-league match, the host New Town basketball team scored a decisive 64-28 triumph over the Elkton Golden Elks.
In their next game, the meet the Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 7. New Town will attempt to move on its 24-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 25-1 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD).
With the defeat, Elkton moves to 13-4 on the year.
