In Saturday's non-league match, the host Hanover Indians basketball team scored a tight 54-51 triumph over the North Reading Hornets.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 7. Hanover will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 17-5 record after their 65-59 non-league win over Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA).
With the defeat, North Reading moves to 11-9 on the year.
