The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers to 48 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alamo Navajo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 8. Melrose will battle a Cougars team coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Dora (Dora, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 24-4.
