The Alameda Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Mission San Jose Warriors to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, March 4. Alameda will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Acalanes nipped Alhambra (Martinez, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
