California High School Volleyball - Balboa can't hold off Leland

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Leland Chargers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Balboa Buccaneers.

The Chargers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Dons come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Del Mar nudged Silver Creek (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Buccaneers encounter the Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 7. Balboa will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA).
