The Desert Edge Scorpions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Camelback Spartans to 0 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Scorpions now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ironwood for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 7. Desert Edge will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Alhambra dropped by Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
