In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Rangely Panthers basketball team scored a tight 52-45 triumph over the Akron Rams.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 9. Rangely will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 19-5 record after their 60-50 non-league win over Wray (Wray, CO).
