Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI), 62-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edison Academy upgrades its record to 27-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Divine Child won 66-13 in their recent non-league match against Voyageur Academy (Detroit, MI)

With the defeat, University Prep moves to 13-6 on the year.
