In Saturday's non-league match, the host Holt Rams basketball team scored a good 63-45 triumph over the Northwest Mounties.
In their next game, the Rams meet the Coldwater Cardinals (Coldwater, MI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 7. Holt will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 23-1 record after their 35-32 non-league win over Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI).
With the defeat, Northwest moves to 21-3 on the year.
