The Alexander Central Cougars crushed the host Western Harnett Eagles baseball team by a tally of 10-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Iredell for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. Alexander Central will face a Vikings team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Eagles face the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) in a bout, on Monday, March 6. Western Harnett will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
