The New Hanover Wildcats the host South Central Falcons baseball team by a tally of 7-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. New Hanover will face a Vikings team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
