In Saturday's non-league test, the host Ponte Vedra Sharks lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the Allatoona Buccaneers.
The Sharks now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mandarin for a 2A D2 test on Monday, March 6. Ponte Vedra will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a 5A-6A Area 2 test, on Monday, March 6. Allatoona will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA).
