Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC), 12-2 in a non-league battle.
The Mavericks now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to T.L. Hanna for a 5A District 1 battle on Monday, March 6. Mauldin will clash with a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Clover (Clover, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC) in a 4A-1A Upper battle, on Monday, March 6. Eastside will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 8-4 non-league win over St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC).
