The West Carteret Patriots tipped the host North Brunswick Scorpions lacrosse team by a score of 12-11 in Saturday's non-league match.

With the win, West Carteret upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots host John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC) to play the Saints in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7. The Saints go into the match with a record of 0-2. John Paul II Catholic lost 13-2 in their recent league test against Cary Christian (Cary, NC)

In their next game, the Scorpions face the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Tuesday, March 7. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
