Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Diana for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Central Heights will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Van (Van, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Atlanta falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Rabbits host Queen City (Queen City, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. Queen City lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX)
