Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Centaurs now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Redondo Union for a Bay challenge on Wednesday, March 8. Culver City will battle a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Banning falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Gondoliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Gondoliers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Venice won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA)
