In Saturday's non-league contest, the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Boyd moves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Ponder (Ponder, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Monday, March 6. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 2-11. Ponder won 18-1 in their recent non-league contest against Era (Era, TX)
In their next game, the Knights play the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 4. Lindsay will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
