The Burroughs Burros softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting North Stars to 4 in the Burros non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Burroughs moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Burros travel to Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA) to clash with the Eagle in a non-league game on Monday, March 13. The Eagle come into the game with a record of 5-3.
In their next game, the Stars clash with the Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 7. North will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Porterville (Porterville, CA).
