Arizona High School Softball - Chapin gets by Desert View

The Chapin Huskies got by the host Desert View Jaguars softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Huskies (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Burges nudged Horizon (El Paso, TX), 15-3, in a non-league battle.
The Jaguars now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marana for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 7. Desert View will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
