The Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) softball routed the visiting King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX), 11-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rams (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against United (Laredo, TX). The Longhorns go into the 6A Region IV District 30 bout with a 11-6 record.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander for a non-league bout on Sunday, March 5. King will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-9.
