Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Elsinore Tigers (Wildomar, CA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Monsoons now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host North for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Mayfair will clash with a Saxons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 9-1.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Elsinore will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
