The Torrey Pines Lady Falcons beat Escondido charter 12–2 to finish 3-0 in pool play and advance to the platinum division quarterfinals where they will play North coastal league rival San Marcos at 6 PM on field 4 in the 40 team 2023 cougar classic tournament. Junior Kathryn McGinty threw 3 innings, allowed only one hit and struck out three to gain the win in the circle. Junior Georgia Bilski went 3-3 with 1 RBI while Freshmen Mina Crouch went 3-3 with a triple and 3 RBI’s to lead the Falcons who banged out 14 hits in just 3 innings. Junior captain, Ava Fagin went 2-2 with 2 RBI’s as the Falcons improved to 4–0 on the season.
