The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) and the visiting Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX), saw Judson's softball squad nip Floresville by a count of 15-8.

The Rockets now sport a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Central for a 6A Region IV District 27 match on Tuesday, March 7. Judson will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Floresville falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Somerset (Somerset, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, March 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-12. Somerset lost 23-12 in their recent league match against Pearsall (Pearsall, TX)
