The Whirlwinds (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls go into the 2A Region I District 3 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Hale Center nudged Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX), 22-8, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lockney for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 21.
