In Saturday's non-league contest, the Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX), by a margin of 13-8.
With the triumph, Gainesville moves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Leopards travel to Seymour (Seymour, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 4. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-2.
In their next game, the Indians play the Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Quanah will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cyclones come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Booker (Booker, TX).
