Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Seymour Panthers (Seymour, TX), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Leopards now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ranchview for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Gainesville will face a Wolves squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Seymour falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northside (Vernon, TX) to face the Indians in a 2A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Northside won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Graford (Graford, TX)
