In Saturday's non-league contest, the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, Spain Park moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to play the Hornets in a 7A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 3-7. Chelsea lost 4-0 in their recent non-league contest against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
In their next game, the Dolphins play the Elberta Warriors (Elberta, AL) in a 5A Area 1 contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Gulf Shores will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Foley (Foley, AL).
