In Saturday's non-league contest, the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Riverdale Cowboys (Riverdale, CA), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Scots travel to Frontier (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 8. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Frontier lost 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Independence (Bakersfield, CA)
