The West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) softball nipped the host Holden Rockets (Holden, LA), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rebels (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Sam Houston held off Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA), 13-6, in a non-league bout.
The Rockets now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Doyle for a non-league bout on Monday, March 13.
