The La Grange Leopards softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Plainview Bulldogs to 2 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, La Grange moves its record to 7-12 on the year. The Leopards travel to Early (Early, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league game on Saturday, March 4. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 12-3. Early won 22-1 in their recent non-league game against Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 7. Plainview will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Lobos come into the game with a 15-3 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX).
