The Wells Leopards got by the host Laughlin Cougars softball squad by a final score of 12-11 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Leopards (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coleville (Coleville, CA). The Wolves go into the 1A Northern battle with a 0-0 record.

The Cougars now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mountain View Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 4. Laughlin will meet a Saints squad coming off a 20-5 non-league loss to Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Saints record now stands at 0-2.
