Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the United Longhorns (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX), witnessed United's softball squad tip Lehman by a count of 5-4.

The Longhorns now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they host United South for a 6A Region IV District 30 match on Wednesday, March 8. United will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Lehman moves to 7-3 on the season. The Lobos host Glenn (Leander, TX) to face the Grizzlies in a 5A Region IV District 25 match on Tuesday, March 7. The Grizzlies go into the match with a record of 18-3. Glenn won 10-2 in their recent non-league match against West (West, TX)
