Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joaquin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. Pollok Central will battle a Rams squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Cayuga (Cayuga, TX). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Nacogdoches falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 15-6.
